About the agency
The Agency East is a boutique public relations and visibility firm founded in July 2021 by Candice D'Angelo in Plantation, Florida. Florida's official Division of Corporations lists The Agency East LLC as active and records its July 26, 2021 filing and Plantation address. The agency's own company-managed LinkedIn description says it works specifically with women-owned businesses and founders to increase recognition through media relations, strategic campaigns, brand partnerships and reputation counsel.
In July 2026, an agency-issued announcement distributed through the South Florida Business Journal described an expanded focus on answer-engine optimization and AI citation visibility. The agency says it helps early-growth women entrepreneurs get discovered by systems including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, while continuing traditional earned-media work. The announcement claims the firm won PRSA Greater Fort Lauderdale's 2024 Agency of the Year distinction; this is agency-supplied information, not independent award verification.
The official business website was inaccessible in this pass, but the company's LinkedIn profile, current agency-issued July 2026 announcement and active Florida business registration independently document its identity, founder and current area of work. The official-site issue should be repaired or confirmed before publishing the directory listing.
